The Ramona Farmstand Map

More than thirty working farm stands sit on this plateau, and the number keeps moving. Stands open, stands close, and new ones turn up where nobody was looking. We redraw it when they do.

Three ways to use the map

Take it with you, however you travel.

    On your phone

Use the map right here. Tap any stand for its hours and a Directions button, which hands straight over to Google Maps or Apple Maps for turn-by-turn.

    Fly it

The Google Earth version, for planning at the kitchen table. You get the hills and the groves the way they actually sit, which a flat map cannot tell you.

    Print it

The illustrated one, drawn by hand. Cell service gets thin out past the wineries, and paper does not care. Ours lives in the glovebox.

    Drawn, not generated

    Version 36, and counting.

The illustrated one is the version people put on the refrigerator. It gets redrawn every time a stand opens or closes. There is a QR code in the corner — scan it and the whole thing opens in Google Maps, so the paper copy still gets you there.

Tap to open the print version — 11 × 8.5 inches, 600 dpi.

    Farm stand owners

Get your stand on the map.

If you run a stand around Ramona and you are not on here, that is only because we have not found you yet. Send us your details and we will come and see you — then you go on the printed map, the Google Maps version and Google Earth. Free, always.

    Also ours

Come and stay while you are here.

Cory and Carissa run two places in Ramona and the farm stand at the back gate of one of them. If you are driving the map, you may as well wake up in the middle of it.
